I'm eager to see where Ninja Theory is taking their next bet.Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Game Details While I really didn't like DmC, Ninja Theorys original games are always something special to me. The game is really well polished and definitely worth checking out right now. I've spent around ten hours into the game and had like two small issues with the game, none worth mentioning. They've got a simple concept behind them, truly immersive, sometimes frustrating but always fair. The first battle is not an easy one having but only a moment to adjust. Where Senua's reality divides from other realities is for you to decide. The perspective doesn't shift between an outsider and Senua, everything in this game is a reality of her own. Sometimes this world is created by Senua herself. There's little distraction from your main goal and the world reflects that. The audiovisual concept works great with the mythology and the gameplay. The path follows into her deepest fears and an inner darkness only a strong mind can endure. There is no tutorial for you to follow but the path Senua has chosen for herself. One of a Celtic warrior against all odds, a raiding Viking tribe and their gods. You're a part of her and her most precious ally in this world where her quest is not one of a hero but a broken individual in a harsh brutal world. By integrating you into the world of Hellblade and Senua's mind you become one of the voices in her head. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is none of that. Some try to reflect realism by adding a survival system, others have an open world where you can do whatever you want, most of the time leaving you with time consuming fetch quests. Comparable to any other medium video games have an advantage over most of them and that's immersion. When it comes to video games nowadays one thing that is most important to me is the story. Small spoilers for the first thirty minutes may appear.
